Habs accept IMO.

Kovacevic has lost his spot to Harris and bringing an asset back like Poulin is fine. I would rather have a pick, but whatever.

Anderson for Smith is a fair deal and getting out of the contract 2 years early is the reason Habs accept.

Pick swap of 2024 (weaker) for 2025 (stronger) is in line with deals Hughes has already made preferring 2025.

I'd be fine with Anderson on the pens if it were not for his contract, also if Poulin keeps playing the way he has been, then he'll be the next callup for any Centre that gets injured...

also Dallas already has a fantastic top-9, so they need a top-4 D wayyy more than guentzel...
