20 man roster doesn't cut it can't sign Eberle For that much. They'd be better off bringing up Gonclaves and Merela and a Thompson or a Crozier for the same cap space.

Definitely need to add a right shot forward to the lineup, but there are much younger and cheaper options than Eberle at 33 available too.

exactly, dude will be a much cheaper cap hit than Eberle. Hopefully he gets going offensively at an NHL level or is at the very least given the chance to play on a top line to help drive the play and start production. Loved him last call up, but more disappointed in Cooper that we never gave Merela a shot to show off his instincts in a top six spot. Fingers crossed he gets a solid look after his stint in Syracuse, he's looked good there

That's always been Coops biggest weakness as a coach I said the exact same thing with Jonathan Marchessault
