Kings aren't going to give a decent prospect and an NHL player for a guy would take a back seat to Dave Rittich, who's already behind Talbot. There's not a fit here, and a certain fanbase here has an inflated sense of value for Allen.

Decent. Not superb, not a blue chipper. But decent. He's shown improvement in the AHL after having two shoulder surgeries, and has a possibility of being a solid 4C at the NHL level. Could turn out, could not.

Considering the fact that LA has current injuries at the 4C position, I'm inclined to think he might be a possible call-up in the near future until Lizotte heals up.
