Could definitely be an option, if Lindholm doesn’t pan out, but for me Lindholm should be plan A.
Also… would he waive for WPG?

I like Nelson, but I highly doubt Winnipeg involves both a 1st and Lucius for a 32YO.

Not sure if he would but they’ve convinced others to waive. Stastny and Schmidt

He did play with Niederreiter in Bridgeport plus it seems like many of the Minnesota guys know each other. Anything is possible so who knows.

A late first, a prospect that has 4 career goals in 30 AHL games and a 7th defenseman for a season and a half of a 35-goal center with 50% retained? Seriously?

Only scored 35 goals twice and over 60 points once in his career. Stanley a toss in for cap. And NYI frees up 3 mill in cap. They need it

He’s on pace for his third straight 35 goal season and his contract is a bargain for what he provides. The Isles don’t need cap space bad enough to move him for that trash package.
