I'd be more than fine with the Flames deal. I doubt Tavares would want to come here though.

That said, Leafs fans are in for a disappointment if you guys expect big moves from Tre this year. He would be looking to trade a 3rd, or a 4th for a depth D someone like Stetcher, Schultz, or Bogosian. I don't see him spending 1sts until the off-season.

Out of the big 5, JT would be the last one to waive imo. He came to Toronto for a reason because he is from here and took less money to do so.

Calgary doesn't want Tavares and he won't waive for anyone anyhow. Replace Tavares with Timmons or Liljegren and you might just have a deal.
