It certainly was.

There were a few Euro players in the NHL.

But it was always a mystery when Team Canada or Team USA would play the Euro countries.

Of course Team USA wasn't very good back then so they'd usually be destroyed by them.

Best thing to ever happen to the NHL was the Euros being allowed to play in the NHL. Especially the Russians.

I always felt bad for the ones who never got a chance to play in the NHL.

Nemec is one of our best dmen, at 19 years old, in first year of ELC. The cost to acquire is so great, I would be embarrassed to say aloud.

Would rather not move the only defenseman on the Caps who’s played consistently well. Don’t think Harris would move the needle enough to make MacLellan accept.
