Are they still looking at moving him?

The latest on Broberg is that he’s dominating the AHL (again). Him and his agent are fine, their issue is he wasn’t playing and just warming the bench in the NHL. He’s logging huge minutes in the AHL and scouts are saying he looks down right fantastic down there with his range and elite skating, choking off opposition entries before they can begin.

He is worth a late 1st or former 1st rounder at the very least. Otherwise the Oilers will just keep him as depth option for the playoffs which was their plan for him at the beginning of the year anyways.

Wrong. If offered a 3rd. Oilers say no. So no, that’s not his “worth”. You may want to see the latest scouting reports on him in the AHL he’s downright dominant.

Very unclear what intentions might be for him. He's playing extremely well in the AHL. Smart management would keep him as 7D for a run and injury replacement, trade Kulak this offseason, start him on 3rd pair full time next season on his qualifying contract number (he'll have little leverage to sign anything else, especially if being offered a full time slot to win finally). Whatever trade interest there was from his agent fully died down quick, haven't heard a peep on that for a while.

This seems…steep. Has he earned such a high price?

From outside, it looks like the dman version of Kravtsov.

Lmao I'm glad our 22 year old 8th overall pick isn't failing in the AHL of all places, a 3rd is usually the price for outstanding AHL players or struggling prospects. Just look at KK for a second, he's a former 2nd overall pick who had almost a 20 goal year and he's going for a 2nd at very most. Broberg just isn't worth much anymore, he's gonna be 23 next year and isn't good enough to be even a bottom pairing guy. He won't make Edmontons roster, I'd be thrilled with a 3rd

No idea, they would probably want to add him in a larger package rather than just move on from him for the sake of it

Yes he has. Cause that’s the price to get him. For example, Wahlstrom has been offered for him and makes sense for both sides. So yeh that’s his price, the Oilers would not accept anything less.

Sorry when did the proven bust who plays with a mini stick in Kakko get traded? Tell me about his established value when the trade actually happen. At this point his 2nd round pick valuation is as dumb as Brobergs 3rd round pick evaluation.

Again, if offered a 3rd the Oilers say no. So keep fantasizing that you can steal him for a 3rd, that’s all it is fantasy.
