      these moves would guarantee that the Avs continue to "suck" next year and the year after and...

      Lindholm would be a rental, so COL is in the same spot next year that they're in now at 2C. The rest of these moves further empty what is already a pretty bare cupboard in terms of prospects and picks.

      Ah good point. Still don't see it unless it's at least a 2nd round pick. Marleau was traded to the Canes with a 6.25m AAV for a 1st round pick. Same story with Sean Monahan (6.2m) With a $4M contract, its more likely in the 2nd round range.
