Vegas laughs at that Deal, and if you are moving those guys call Buffalo. Easily beat this offer.

I'm not opposed to the Pens deal, but the issue is cap. Even with the retention the Pens have zero space, so unless there's a secondary deal to retain another 50% then the Pens could ship out a $1Mish player to make it happen.

You are super ripping off Vegas. Theodore is like a 12-18 best defenseman in the league on a good contract.

You are offering minimal value for Krebs

They could keep Smith on the LTIR until the playoffs to help with cap space.

Sabres aren’t doing that

1- not looking to move Krebs
2- not offering anything that would interest us anyways


Just doesn’t make ANY sense for us to do a deal like this
