Avs are definitely not trading Kovalenko. I don't mind Nelson, though, as a stopgap solution at 2C until Ritchie arrives. I'd ask if Lou would take the 1st, Joey, a prospect like Behrens or Olausson, and maybe a 4th for more retention.

Doubtful Lou would do this unless the Islanders completely flame out early next season and look to do a minor retool. However I don't see that happening or Lou trading arguably his 2nd best forward. Not unless the return is truly massive
