I know they're different players but Kane went for nearly nothing last year. This trade would only happen if Crosby wanted it to and he'd be able to dictate where he'd want to go, Colorado would be a top destination for him. Given that Crsoby would have some influence here, and Byram is a legitimate top pairing defensemen when hes 100%, I think its a fair offer without including Ritchie.
