All of these are pieces that I would comfortably move. I am definitely not suggesting they move all of these pieces, but rather creating an "inventory" of potential trade pieces. (Arizona used as a placeholder.)

I may be very wrong about this but I'm just not sure that Chychrun would be a good fit for the Jets. I think he is very overrated. But it could be because he is playing for a very under achieving Ottawa team.

All those players in your "inventory" are more valuable to WPG than any other team; you're likely not getting anything useful back for them. Better to have depth that already know the system and have chemistry with the team.

Rutger's loooking good in college, but i doubt WPG would consider playing him ahead of any current roster player this year, especially in the playoffs.

so you're willing to move a very late 1st and then a bunch of other pieces that nobody particularly wants

No to Chychrun… Jets don’t need an overrated LHD
No to moving Chisholm… he can take the 3rd pairing LD slot next year if Dillon isn’t resigned
Really no reason to move Appleton as long as he’s playing good

Lindholm likely cost 1st + Lucius level prospect + another small add

IMO Lindholm should be the only add the Jets make at the deadline and if the cost is Lucius, 2024 1st round and hopefully Stanley I do that in a heartbeat. Lucius is far behind Lambert as forward prospects go and we have some great potential depth at forward coming up. Rutger, Barlow, Lambert, Wagner, and Zhilkin.

Hmmm... not sure I love the player choices, but if I was CGY Ii'd have a hard long look at a 1st, 2nd, and Stanley for Lindholm (maybe a an 3rd conditional on if WPG make conference fianls).
