Bert spurned Yzerman's offer and got dealt to Boston. He then would not resign here, fine and Kostin is 1/2 the money and plays his roll well. No need to bring in names, but pieces that help this team.

Leafs have zero interest in risto and graves pass on both, McCabe isn’t getting moved he’s brads ideal defender very physical and can score he isn’t getting moved period

I would move McCabe in the right circumstances. He's on the wrong side of 30, and while being a top 4 defenceman in TO, he shouldn't be in that role. He really isn't good enough. If we sell, and can get good value for him, we should. McCabe doesn't win us anything and he's 30,

Brad isn’t trading him he’s Brads perfect defender very physical and can score it just isn’t happening, sure they can get value out of him but is it worth it? I don’t think so

No McCabe isn't good offensively, he'll never score a lot. He will be the odd one but he's just not very capable defensively.

Trading McCabe for Graves seems like a lateral move at best for a guy that's 2 years younger but more than twice the price
