No chance Edmonton downgrades the RD position doesn’t make any sense for them so all these moves simply won’t work for Edmonton good try though and also these are massive overpays imo

LMAO, 4ths and 7ths really have no value and Savoie isn't anything more than Ylonen. This isn't a "massive" overpayment. The OP can keep those 4ths, 7ths and Savoie though and the Habs would likely still do that

Ceci always has been better than savard and it’s kinda obvious one of them is a top 4 defensemen the other is a bottom pairing defensemen

Yeah, Savard has always been the top 4 D mand who was traded for a 1st + 3rd the 2 years after Ceci was traded for Zaitsev LMFAO, that alone should tell you how bad Ceci actually is, he was literally traded for Zaitsev!!!

He wasn't literally traded for Zaitsev it was a 6 player deal?? Leafs wanted to get rid of cap dump! Savard is super slow he was good 8 years ago....

Yes it was a 6 player + 1 dradt puck swap but the deal basically broke down as Ceci for Zaitsev, Brown for 3rd + Harper, Luchuk for Carcone.
