He is extremely underpaid for what he's asked to do and what he's successfully done this season. 7% of the cap to drag Leddy around against other teams top weapons for 24-26 minutes a night on a team full of inconsistent forwards minus 2 isn't an easy task.

The rest of the defense is overpaid, minus maybe Faulk, but i wouldn't do that contract again.

Blues are already weak on defense. Trading Parayko doesn't help us. Also think you can get a younger defensemen that fits your age range with Mittlestadt as the main piece
