Pegula is cheap, and even at 50% retained, Olofsson is more expensive than Clutterbuck?

But that’s a reason to get rid of Olofsson
With him gone, we still have enough forwards & don’t need to bring anyone else in

Sure, but it's going to be tough to dump him without taking at least some salary back. Pretty much every playoff contender is pretty short on cap space, and they're the only ones that would be interested in him as a rental.
