Can't see the Preds being in on Broberg. We are pretty deep on the right side. I think they would want at least a first for Fabbro/Carrier since it will be a really late first. I think both of those guys are more likely to be moved in a hockey trade though.

A 2nd and 3rd would be nice for Walker.

I would agree, but I don't love the best pick being 2 years away. I don't think they move Walker if they don't get a 2024 pick.

broberg is a LD, but you’re right. depends on the intented direction of the team, but they may view it as a hockey deal, getting back a solid D man and another young NHL D

Dude puts up better 5v5 defensive numbers than 95% of the league with some of the toughest deployments

I stand corrected. Do we really think sens management thinks he’s in the window though? Maybe the second becomes a first. That package would be sufficient

    I do .
If they trade Zub, they’ll be looking for 2 more Zub instead of just 1 Zub.

They’ve even stated that they want to move one of Chabot or Chychrun to get a RD like Zub to balance out the pairings

I was thinking the same thing, but I don't want to be too picky. I think the Flyers would listen for offers closer to this year, but would settle if they can't.

I understand that, but more and more I think they get a 1st for Walker. I was listening to a pod that was interviewing Jonesy, and he mentioned them being excited about their 2 to 3 1st round picks this upcoming draft. I feel like he has some inkling that they might be able to get a 1st.

We saw people like David Savard go for a 1st, so unless GMs learned from that we can only hope.

I think Walker is more worth around a 2nd and 4th. He’s a bit undersized, not the fleetest of foot, not much playoff experience, and he’s only had one year where he’s looked like a legit Top 4. That said he’s a RD which can be hard to come by.

I’d be at a 2nd and 4th but if it has to be 2nd and 3rd then I have to think about it.

That's fair, I was looking at the Orlov and McCabe deals from last trade deadline as a gauge of value. I would be fine with a 2nd+ a pick or prospect. It was just interesting the way Jonesy mentioned their 2 to 3 1sts in the upcoming draft, made me think there was a legit chance to add a 1st. And other than Walker I'm not sure who brings a 1st in return
