Description

I've always said they won't trade Jake, and I still kind of believe that.

However, the devils advocate side of me and knowing how Dubas has operated in the past says send it.

Most Van fans will say they don't have cap space and I understand that, but I think they move Kuzmenko one way or another, so the cap would work just not a guy the pens would have interest in.

I'd do a 5th, but you're not getting much for a 4th line center at his age. You can still resign him in the off-season too.

Honestly you’re both right. ANA shouldn’t trade Carrick because he’s the perfect 4C who would very likely re-sign with us, and PIT shouldn’t acquire him because it should cost more than he’s worth. I’d move him for a 3rd, and nobody should be paying a 3rd for him
