I dont see PLD having anything but negative value - that contract, his production, going of 3rd team in 4years souring on him. MONT (or anyone) cant see going to pay to take him off your hands.

If Blake trades PLD for a loss, it will cost him his job, with the trade coming so soon after the Petersen dump.

As long as Blake is the GM of the Kings, Dubois isn't getting traded. If Blake gets fired, all bets are off.

PLD Ya no thanks, LA is stuck with that contract. It be nice for gally’s contract to be gone though but not for PLD.

I have two scenario of why PLD isn't palying really good with LA and with his new contract :

Scenario 1 : Because he signed the contract that he wanted, he decided to '' poke the donut '' on his effort to playing well because of that contract.

Scenario 2 : He really wanted to play for Montreal over LA (even when LA haved somes interest on him but not Montreal), but he also wanted that type of contract.
