Open to retaining any deals they can for picks. They can use Spurgeon's LTIR money.
Don't really see why they would ever trade Eriksson-Ek away, but wanted to test it out

Brutal value in the Boston trade. That's a complete whiff.

Goligoski is not returning anything more than FC and you're probably too rich on Duhaime.

The MAF and Bogo trades are both fine.

do you think JEE is the most valuable asset that has been moved in the last 10 years or so? that's the only way this is a whiff.

Lol - oh another CF fan who thinks their fluff pieces are worth more than they actually are. Shocker.

nope - just another guy that has actually paid attention to the NHL, and understand what trades look like.

two first round picks isn't fluff. spoiler alert - your center that's cracked 50 points once in his career isn't going to fetch two firsts, a teams two top prospects, and an NHL d man. that's unprecedented.

Merkulov, Zboril and Gryz are fluff here. Unneeded pending UFAs to a bottom 10 team = fluff. Every team in the league has their version of Merk. Being one of your best prospects does not mean he's a tier I prospect. Just means your pool is thin.

2026 1st = Middleton
2025 1st + Lysell = Not enough for Ek.

spin it all you want, but MN doesn't touch this with a 10 ft pole.

so are you relatively new to following the NHL, or just not big on following trades etc?

Lololol - little advice bud, generally when you reach the point of an argument where your only rebuttal is posturing, you should just take your L and move on.

All that junk in your Ek/Middleton trade greatly reduces your offer! The only thing of value there is Lysell and the two late 1sts…which isn’t nearly enough for Ek alone! Between his leadership, his terrific play, and his wonderful contract, Ek is nearly untouchable!
You want Ek and Middleton, start your offer with Charlie McAvoy.
