The Habs would have to add to the CGY deal, but still wouldn't do it. Gally done in 3 years and Hubby has 7 after this. That's a bad contract just waiting to happen and it will happen!

Dufour is the isles best goal-scoring prospect, unless he ends up being a trade chip in a huge trade, I doubt he gets moved.

Canucks pass. If you keep Armia and drop the prospect to someone like Klimovich or McDonough I’d maybe do it, but the Canucks reportedly aren’t interested in Monahan

But Huberdeau makes more and it's longer term, while he is 100% better than Gallagher I'd rather Montreal keep Gally instead of trading him for a massive contract like Huberdeau. I think Huberdeau needs a change but that contract isn't tradeable right now unless similar money goes back the other way. The extra 4 years of cap space that keeping Gally gives Montreal is worth more to Montreal than Huberdeau's contract.
