Trades
1.
MTL
  1. 2024 1st round pick (COL)
COL
  1. Monahan, Sean
Additional Details:
On pace for 58pts. Maybe he is on a third on a championship team, but if he’s on your 3rd, you got a pretty good team
2.
MTL
  1. 2024 2nd round pick (CAR)
CAR
  1. Allen, Jake ($1,925,000 retained)
  2. 2024 7th round pick (WSH)
Additional Details:
Hopeful thinking, probably more worth a 3rd rounder
3.
MTL
  1. 2025 5th round pick (ANA)
ANA
  1. Pezzetta, Michael
Additional Details:
Anaheim is a place holder, can be anywhere
4.
BUF
  1. Barron, Justin
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
This is what i would use to try to snatch a center with some upside. Is it realistic? I think that Buffalo got a lot of better prospect coming in Ostlund, Savoie, Kulich ,etc.

Realistic other than Allen. I honestly think Allen would be an absolute stud on a team like Carolina, Colorado or New Jersey. But I just don't see a team paying a second. I think someone offers a 4th or 5th with no retention and thats what they eventually accept.

Not from Carolina, he'd be Carolina's 4th best goalie when healthy.

I think Mony gets a late first or equivalent too but there are plenty on here that don’t and will argue with you until the bitter end so just avoid engaging and we’ll see what happens when the real deal materializes.
Yeah I think Allen is only going to fetch a third tops even retained but hey I hope I’m wrong!
Pezzetta is super well liked and does his job well without complaining why even bothering moving him for a 5th?
Last trade is super interesting, well done. Wonder what Buffalo fans think.

Without retention I would hope the habs put the trigger even for a 4th

For pezzetta, he is a 13th/14th forwards and moving him opens up a space for a youngster like Heineman who has better upside and can hit!

Also wondering what Sabres fans think on that one smile!

Allen can be a pretty good backup to Kochetkov. He would do better than Raanta behind this team.. and Andersen wont ever be healthy he is made of glass .

That’s what I mean though, he’s a 13th forward that can sit in the press box for 4 games then be put in, play 7 minutes, throw 5 hits, have a fight and never complain. You want the youngsters to play whether it be in the NHL or AHL not sit in the press box as a 13th forward.

Andersen's medically cleared bud, plus Raanta's still better than Allen when he's not fed to the Tampa Bay powerplay.

The second year on Allen's contract makes him an unappealing target to the Canes, especially if Andersen comes back. Certainly not worth a 2nd.

I think the Avs might lean towards Lindholm more than Monahan.

Maybe from the Sabres
It’s not exactly “realistic”
But it’s not absurd either

Sabres fan here, I like Krebs but i don't see him fitting in the long term with so many other prospects. I would take this trade smile
