Chisholm

Created by: bhavikp27
Team: 2023-24 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 28, 2024
Published: Jan. 29, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Considering the lack of quality depth on the left D side, I'd take a chance on Chisholm (if he makes it). Young, cheap and has played well in the AHL. Rotate him on the 3rd pair to begin.

Yup, don’t think he makes it Boston though, someone will claim him.

I believe the user is referring "we" to the Bruins, not the Jets.

As shown on the lineup above, there is room. The roster size and cap also work.

Jets fans picked him over Stanley. Jets management just waived Chisholm while Stanley is still on the team.

Whoops. It was supposed to say jets picked Stanley over him.
I like Chisholm, watched a few of his AHL games and im baffled the jets waived him and are continuing to hold onto Stanley. I doubt he clears waivers

Sad to see him go, but he deserves a real shot at becoming an NHL regular. I know Chevy has to get something out of Stanley to save face for trading up to acquire him at the draft, but it's clear to anyone watching that he is either uncoachable or just doesn't take his job seriously. It's like the one thing I disagree with Chevy on.

for sure, but more reason to move on from Stanley and keep Chisholm. If they put Stanley on waivers maybe he gets claimed (problem solved) or maybe he clears and he's assigned to the Moose and is a call up if needed. Basically with Chisholm you've drafted and developed him, given him a total of 4 NHL games to prove himself and then put a "free dman" sign outside the office

This is predicated on the bruins burying forbort, it's not gonna happen.

They won't do it but they can do it. I didn't say they were going to do it either, just proposed an idea which is the main point of an ACGM.
