What more could we get than two firsts and a decent prospect in Bergen

It's not a matter of getting more, it's a matter of not breaking Zegras up into a collection of lesser parts, or having to take on Compher's contract.

It makes no sense to move Zegras unless a singular asset of similar value is coming back the other way, not a mystery box of late picks and lesser prospects that at best, if we are supremely lucky, equates to the same impact as one Trevor Zegras.

what do you mean "taking on Compher's contract" He's getting paid less then Zegras, Bergen played fine on the games he played last year, plus 2 draft picks that could be 16th or less, because the wings aren't that good, if the wings make the playoffs they will probably get out in the first round, plus even if they didn't then that means that you still have a first rounder, for 2 years. berggren played 67 games, and he got 28 points. I think this is a good trade.

I mean exactly what I said, I don't want to deal with having Compher on the roster, in case it wasn't exceedingly obvious, we don't have room for him. Matter of fact, we already have him in Strome.

"Fine" doesn't get Zegras, so why should I care that Berggren players fine?

This would be like Anaheim offering Gaucher, Lundestrom, Boston's 2nd, and Strone for Debrincat. Are you taking that deal?

no because he's young, which I understand for Zegs too, but 2 1st round picks are incredible, and what if the Ducks decide to do it, and either trade one away to get a star player; like the canucks, they traded Horvat and got a first rounder and traded that for Hronek and look how that turned out, Hronek and Hughes are one of the best pairings right now. Since they traded Drysdale you don't have that good of a defensive pairing (I think). Compher can play Winger or Center, and Berggren has time to develop, The ducks will have 2 first-rounders for this year and 2 the next year.
