In fact losing a few of em and the new gm not replacing them with as good players made the team much worse

Besides Engvall, the Leafs really had no choice in the other players leaving. The reason Engvall was traded the Leafs needed a third rounder to pay for the poor ROR and Accarli.
Yeahm Klinbgerg dead weight signing really hurt.

They could have kept holl and kerfoot over domi and klingberg pretty easily, but the major point is that OP thinks the leaving players are bad because dubas but at the same time his gm of love couldn't replace then

I'm glad the Leafs didn't sign Holl to a 3.4m X 3 deal he got in Detroit. Holl's skating had slowed considerably. Kerfoot, although I didn't mind Kerfoot, time to move on from his 3.5m X 3 contract that he got from Ariozna.

Yeah, they arnt great deals or anything but they're better than what we got
