This would be a good off-season.
(Do they need to do the Saad move....could just play Laughton at center)

There's no chance EDM accepts that unfortunately. Also there's also no chance Bolduc slots in on the second line next year. My personal prediction is he gets his 9 game stint next season. Kessel should absolutely be in as of writing this, and the Saad move feels slightly un-needed, was it done for cap purposes? I'm also weary of adding another 6.5 on the blue line this offseason considering we've just got rid of one.

I would guess Bolduc starts in minors. Snuggy may be able to hop on the RW on the second line, and could play Laughton as C

None of it is the direction the team is looking to go.
None of the signings.
None of the trades.
So no its not a good off-season at all.

I can't see the Oilers being interested in Krug. They could use a right shot defenseman who could be a steady presence in the top four that allows their more skilled defensemen to cook (in much the same way Ekholm was last year). Krug's been pretty solid this year, but let's face it, that's like the opposite of the kind of defensemen he is.

Add in the fact that Krug is very expensive, the Oilers have no cap space (and likely won't have 6.5 million to work with, even with "the cap going up" and whatever in the offseason), the Blues are unlikely to retain salary AND Krug could immediately veto the whole thing makes that idea pretty unworkable to me, unless you want to get in the Jack Campbell business.

1. not sure if you have watched the oilers lately
2. krugs caphit does not work for where the oilers are nor does the term.
3. if oilers do make a change on d it will be to the right side as the Ekholm nurse kulak left side has been solid.
4. krug is not what the oilers need

Torey Krug isn't waiving for Edmonton or any Canadian team for that matter.

And Noah Hanifin gets more term and money. Other teams will offer him far more.

I’d assume that we will have to be sending draft picks along with Torrey Krug for someone to take him off our hands.
