Eewww, that better not be the Tanev trade people have been rumbling about. Paid more than enough to the Flames as is.

I have kinda forgotten about Podkolzin…has he been any good?

If Devils don’t improve or extend Toffoli, I think it would seem realistic.

laugh If Tanev was headed to Vancouver it would've happened in the Lindholm trade, Massive overpay for a 34 year old RHD who's basically hasn't had that great of a season. Tanev isn't worth 1/32 of that trade.

He's a bit of a reclamation project now but I'd say he's probably as good as Holtz

Holtz is our top scorer (g/60 and pts/60) in 5v5. He has been playing very well, just not getting a ton of minutes and not getting on power play.

Podkolzin seems to be longer ways off…what does he project as now? Two-way 3rd liner? Can he kill penalties? Both are things we need.

He originally projected as the next Mark Stone, now he may not reach those levels but can be a good middle 6, penalty killing power forward with a killer shot and good physicality.
