NJ would do this in a matter of seconds. Fitz would probably think it was a prank call. I'm assuming that CGY is looking for more.

Dumping Vanacek: 3rd
I wouldn't pay more than a 2nd for unretained Markstrom

THERE NOT GOING TO RETAIN ON MARKY GIVE IT UP!!! he is worth every penny and a vezina candidate. and the flames wouldnt save jerseys season by giving them there top end goalie for anything less than a 1st.

Keep him then. Enjoy paying him 6 mill a year for his age 34 35 and 36 seasons

we will if the devils dont get him.thats why they signed him to the very reasonable contract. you know whats funny Marky is the only goalie that might be available and could actually save the devils season,and you as a devils fan live on here to bash him.

If markstrom had 1 year left on his deal sure. But I want no part of a 35 and 36 year old goalie, especially one as inconsistent as markstrom. He's just as likely to tank your season (see 20-21 and 22-23) as he is to save it.

how do you know when a player starts to decline,i mean your probably 16 yrs old and obviously have hit rock bottom.

Goalies are very unpredictable and volatile, but what I do know is not a single goalie over the last 10 years has managed a top 10 level of play from ages 34-36.
