I sure wouldn't. 😬

I agree! Monahan may produce better than Compher but Lindholm can produce better and he's a more complete player like Compher.

Sounds good to me. Currently i t's like NHL 92-99.

Used to be able to set up killer 1 timers back then.

I'd usually be the Red Wings and dummy my buddies. 🤭

Red Wings player ratings were all in the 80s and 90s it seemed.

IIRC Fedorov and Lidstrom were at or near 100. 😁

But all you needed is 1 fast skater get the puck circle back behind your own net skate through everyone then left right shoot and you score every time.

Or that one move where you skate the puck from right to left and wire a wrist shot top corner. 😁

Or is this the same move? 🤣

Yeah. A team shouldn't get to retract endlessly.

It slows the game down.

Would you take Monahan over Lindholm?

I never said I would. I was stating a few facts where Monahan is looking a little better. History has shown Lindholm a much better player and I admitted lindholms price will be higher than Monahan..I would prefer Lindholm yes depending on what is needed, price and all.

I swear to God.

If shootouts ever decide playoff games I'll quit watching hockey. 😬

I was just curious which you'd take. Now I wouldn't have given up that much for Lindholm, but Detroit and Vancouver are in completely different situations. I also think it was a good move for Vancouver. I could see a team paying a 1st for Monahan but it doesn't make sense for Detroit.

Same glitch but for me it was easier to go straight on at the goalie. Going into the corner gives the D a chance to set up.

I remember I could score anytime I could set up Fedorov with a 1 timer. 🤣

Fedorov had a cannon and was one of the best skaters to ever play in the NHL.

The last NHL I played the one timer was about the only way to score consistently.
