I'm sure Edmonton would love to have Guentzel. They don't have many A type prospects or any younger players are cheaper contracts. I don't really see a fit.

That's what I heard as well, that Tanev and another 1st were discussed in the Lindholm deal. Eventually they did the deal only for Lindholm because CGY thought they might get more elsewhere.
