IF Tanev can stay healthy I could see them getting a late first but those are starting to dry up. I do wonder if the Flames package a guy with Tanev, league minimum 4th line kind of guy to up the price or actually retain on a deal for once. Could also see them just targeting a prospect stuck in a depth chart as opposed to a pick. In the Devils case, a Chase Stillman, Graeme Clarke

I got time for that. I think Flames fans would be slightly disappointed with the return but I think it's exactly the kind of targets they should be looking for. Roster isn't built to tear down to the studs, they need guys that are close to NHL ready to step into roles in the next 1-3 years. Would prefer Stillman but I think a part of that is just 1st round pick pedigree as Zack mentions.
