Rapid-fire thoughts:

CBJ trading Z would be a mistake, he's kind of the flagship piece of "we can retain talent, actually"; trading him jettisons credibility. He'll be the next captain in all likelihood and probably retire a Jacket.
Chicago won't have interest in Bean, a rental.
I'm assuming Laine is done for the season, and think discussing potential trades of him is in poor taste, if I'm honest.

You guys really gotta read the description more often, this was just a thought. I wanted to get the temperature on the idea from the Detroit side really(was a Detroit fan as a kid) and as a jackets fan trading Werenski or Jenner is the last thing I want to see happen, but it's a business. if a team made an offer like this one I'd expect management to at least think it over.

Hawks probably decline. Not going to debate if CBJ can get a 1st and a 2nd for Laine. Some team might pay that. Hawks definitely wouldn't. He's still a point per game player. Problem is he misses too many games with injuries, and his effort game to game is inconsistent. He's honestly not worth his salary or cap hit at this point. And Bean is of no value to the Hawks at all.

He's not a point per game player, though. And he plays a lazy one dimensional game and his contract is huge. Although, two years isn't too bad of a gamble for a team like CHI, they aren't paying this kind of price for him. Another case of "if you want to dump him or offload him for real cheap, CHI could be the an option, but if you actually want this kind of value, anywhere but CHI would be better", IMO.
