I’d take Lindgren, a bit soft and injury prone but still a massive upgrade

Isn't the point of getting Hanifin to bolster defense? So why would you then go and trade the teams one really reliable defensive defenseman for a guy that you're then putting on your 3rd line?

Hanifins a massive upgrade over miller. Lindgren sucks. Jones would be fine next to a dman like trouba

How would the team be worse? 3rd line gets a huge upgrade. 1st line d gets a huge upgrade. 3rd d pair stays the same. 2nd d pair cant get much worse than it has been

You seriously think replacing Miller with Jones is the same if not better?
You think trading the heart and soul (Lindgren), for better or worse, of this team makes it better?
You think trading for Bertuzzi at a 5.5m cap hit is the best choice for this team?

Millers trash. Has a good play every few weeks and fans start to think hes the next adam fox. Hes decent at best offensively and horrible defensively, sounds alot like jones to me. Hanifin one of the best lhd in hockey. Love lindgren but he cant compare. Bertuzzi and frost are great defensively. And capable of scoring
