highly unlikely jets move perfetti. i like konecny and hes a great player but perfetti is playing well, hasnt reached his ceiling yet and will be cost effective for longer. and this move doesnt address any problems the jets have, since konecny is literally replacing perfetti at the cost of depth and futures. i wouldnt mind seeing them grab another defenseman tho, maybe give some of our depth a chance to play elsewhere

TK does slot in for perfetti I just don't see perfetti ever being a guy ho can drive play or be very effective without great line mates he looks scared and if we have a chance to win now I really don't think it is in our best interests to play him in the playoffs. that being said I can see the potential and he's a very skilled player

This is just a truly horrid trade for the Jets. Perfetti is an excellent young player, if Chevy made this trade he would be hanged from the Human Rights Museum

The thought of trading Perfetti for Konecny straight up is an easy no from me. He is untouchable and should not be included in any trade proposal.

i really dont agree with this, perfetti has shown he has multiple levels he can still reach. hes good defensively, has taken hits to make plays this year and has stayed healthy so far. lots of progress from last year and he’ll only get better. he has the most pp goals on the jets iirc sometimes playing net front (aka eating cross checks). obviously areas to improve in like faceoffs but hes the long term success solution (and the short term gap between him and konecny isnt large). time will tell if he’ll pan out as a true centre at the NHL level but he’s a lock on the 2nd line for probably a long time

I think Philly would do this man. What’s the deal with Lucius anyway? I rarely hear about this guy. I mean ya Lambert and especially McGroarty get a lot of buzz but this guy was a high pick wasn’t he?

Btw McGroarty is the guy I’d be looking for in a TK trade. And before Jets fans get all up and arms, TK is VERY unlikely to get dealt. He is young, proven, their best player and future captain. Yes it should cost your best prospect to pry him out.

Still, Perfetti and Lucius (plus a second) would be tempting.

Lucius has alot of high-end offensive skill, but the guy is an injury magnet. Hopefully he can stay get and stay healthy.
