Eh IDK I feel like that Rangers trade is pretty close in value. Kakko's value is at around a 2nd rn and the Rangers are trying to win. It's not far off

The Jireck and Stars trades are comical though

Don't know anything about Timmons, but the wild should take that in a heartbeat. Turning a 7th for Maroon with retainage into a 5th and a prospect is a win.

Timmins isn’t really a prospect. He’s more of a waiver fodder. You can have him for free when Leaf’s dump him, which is soon. But that’s still a 7th to 5th. It’s decent.

Pieces Toronto has that could facilitate a Jiricek trade:

1. Nothing

End list. Unless you're sending us a top-3 pick or young 1RD, we're going to keep our only shot at 1RD in the system, since he's under contract and just wants to play more.

It’s far off IMO. Those 2 can’t be resigned by us next season and just overall haven’t been good. There’s nothing in that package to warrant us moving kakko.
