I'm not convinced I'd trade KK for Jenner one for one. Jenner's injury history combined with his age in reference to KK for two more points last season... I'm good.

Well you were also convinced Monahan wouldn't go for a first rounder so maybe your trade barometer is a bit off.

Aside from the massive overpayment, Jenner is hardly much of an upgrade over KK. Jenner had 2 more points last season, where they have the same amount so far this season. KK is several years younger, playing elite defensively, and is signed for longer. Jenner is in the wrong side of 30, only has 2 more years worth of term. Not worth sacrificing a 1st, 2nd, and Rykov for someone who doesn’t even move the needle at all.

Yeah, I expected a capable GM to trade for him. Chevy's not the brightest bulb. And this is a trade the Canes completely laugh at

Boone Jenner’s best season was EIGHT years ago. He hasn’t cracked 50 points since then. No reason for us to do this
