To much for Savard, not enough for Zegras.

If MTL trades for Zegras without having to give up their 2024 1st then I think they're better to use that pick on Lindstrom or Parekh. You need some size in your top 6 and having Zegras, Caufield, Suzuki and Demidov may not be enough muscle up front

Replace the two late firsts with Montreal's own 2024 first and Anaheim would consider that, IF the Ducks are thinking about trading Zegras at all -- which I don't believe, because his trade value right now is at the lowest point it will ever be.

Sorry Jim Nill isn't trading a 1st round pick for David Savard, The only time Nill traded the 1st 15th oa was when Yzerman gave him the 24th oa and a 2nd and 4th to draft Sebastian Cossa. He never gives up 1st round picks.

And that's not even close for Trevor Zegas, That offer gets blown out of the water and neither PLD or Zegras will ever be dealt to Montreal unless it's a massive overpay.

I agree that Nill should definitely not trade a 1st for Savard & I strongly believe that he won’t. That being said, he did trade last year’s 1st for Lundkvist, so he’s done it before. Really hoping he doesn’t make that same mistake again here.

Yeah i forgot about Lundkvist, I believe that was a special circumstance though.
