No way is Davidson signing all of those free agents. Definitely not bringing in any LD’s Hawks have more than enough already. He also will not be handing out any 7 year contracts, at least until some of the kids ELCs start expiring.

Far too many UFA signings. I could see either Tarasenko or Toffoli to play RW on Bedard's line - but not both. And a RD to play on 3rd pair. But that's probably it. And Hawks won't hand out any UFA deals of more than 3 years.

Only dman Hawks should attempt to sign is a top 4 Right D . ex. Pesce . And then depending on the draft . A center and a winger with size or 2 wingers with size that can play in top 6 . Longterm contracts should only be given out to 26 to 28 yrs old .

Thought about Pesce as well. I think Toffoli has both skill and some bite. Not so much bite with Tank but Foligno balanced that.
