I don't think Ullmark gets that much.

Curious what Kings fans think of Pinielli’s adjustment to the AHL. I thought he’d transition a little better, but I haven’t watched him every day. I do know that that first AHL season and the adjustment downgrades a lot of prospects

If Blake is their GM, I doubt they trade a first for a goalie. That said, if they continue to struggle … maybe some opinions will change

Kings wont trade the first rounder for Ullmark but Pinelli should be on the table to trade.
Honestly hes been a disappointment. Doesnt look like an NHL talent.
It hasnt really clicked for him yet but maybe he takes a big step next year which does happen for 2nd year pros.

That step up to the AHL really is kind of the first major hurdle for these junior stars. I don’t expect big numbers, but I do look for how they transition into the roll of the non star and whether they can gain the trust of the coach to continue to develop. Really year 2 in the AHL is when you see if they can develop into a more prominent role. I wouldn’t give up on him, but it does impact his value.

I don’t expect Blake and Robataille to go after a proven goaltender. They’ve taken three flyers. Copley failed. talbot started hot and has since regressed. Rittich has played well.

That PLD deal looks like a massive win for the Jets.

I was kind of surprised that your coach got fired after the good start.
Enrique liked this.

Yea the load became too much for Talbot at his age. They need a long term solution as Im not sure Portillo is ready and Slukynsky is years put.
PLD doesnt even try. He never goes into the corners and coasts around the ice standing straight up lazily. Takes a lot of untimely lazy penalties. Maybe a new coach gets him going.
Mclellan got fired because he couldnt get the team out of the losing skid. He made no changes to the system or lineup and expected different results. He did take out his frustration on Kaliyev even when he wasnt playing. Poor kid…

How cool would it be if BOS dcore looks like this next year though. Would be the biggest dcore personnel in the league.

Unfortunately I don't think Hanifin is reaching FA unless he wants to join BOS specifically.

Most players that get traded ended up going to free agency unless there aren’t great options of teams without cap room. This is going to be an odd offseason. I’d be surprised if Hanifin doesn’t make it to free agency unless it s Boston or a Florida team trading for him
