Please be nice......only positive vibes and opinions please

All picks are conditional, where the Ducks receive the better of the draft picks in that year, each year. Both teams have BRIGHT futures, but now the Ducks will have a better draft pick in all 3 drafts in next 3 years, and they get some good(not great) roster players to fill those holes. Anaheim has a better chance now to draft their next franchise player.

Another option is if there is no swap, then Anaheim receives montreal 2nd rounder of that year with no trade back. Montreal agrees to no pick protection, even for Celebrini or Mckenna.....

Edit: foe the people asking for a "blue chip peice," I feel since the Ducks chance to win the lottery has drastictly increased to get celebrini and/or McKenna, that should be 'blue chip' worthy

Imagine if Anaheim is behind Montreal for the next 3 years. That means they basically traded Zegras for Barron and Beck and some second rounders

That's the best case scenario, worst case, montreal misses out on generational talent

Thinking about it, I wouldn’t even do 3 seconds, Barron and Beck for Zegras. Max I would do is Mesar + Winnipeg’s first

This is an eminently safe trade for Montreal since they are ahead in the rebuild from Anaheim, so there's a strong chance MTL gets Zegras for a grab bag of spare parts, for which we've said again, and again, and F***ing again we won't do.

If you want Zegras, cough up one of Slafkovsky, Reinbacher, or MTLs unprotected 24 1st.

If one of those pieces isn't involved, there's no deal, simple as that.
