How would you make any of them fit with the cap?

Bruins won't be moving pieces from the roster at this point.

Canucks definitely won’t move Garland in season. Maybe in the offseason they’ll consider it

Mikheyev I don’t think would be moved now either. Maybe if we’re getting a clear upgrade on him

Can't see Vancouver trading Garland. He had a slow start but has been amazing since being paired with Joshua and Blueger on the 3rd line. They have unreal chemistry with each other and have been Vancouver's most consistent line as of late.

Mikheyey could be moved, but it's probably highly unlikely. In the right deal for an upgrade, I could see the Canucks moving on from him, but I think they'd probably hold onto him for now.

I think both of them could become available in the offseason much more readily than during this season.

If the Isles are scouting DeBrusk, they may be hoping he makes it to UFA and thinking about what they'd be willing to offer? Sounds plausible. I do not foresee an in-season trade.

can't see BOS trading DeBrusk, not without something coming in. They don't have the depth.
Hell he's playing on his off side because they just don't have the pieces.

Non-rentals would be tough because Isles would ideally need some cap retained. If they included Wahlstrom in a deal it would help, plus they could waive a guy and carry a 22 man roster. This assumes Lou wouldn't make a "hockey trade" and include someone like Pageau for example.

If it's a rental, a player would fit easier because retention (or even double retention). Isles could fit a guy like Henrique in with double retention

No show by the Canucks. Frankly, if they are basing a possible trade on that effort I'd pass and I'm a fan.
