That’s a ridiculous over pay whoever proposed it on hockey news and there’s gotta be 0% interest in Markstrom by COL

laugh Hockey news is a royal joke.

Sorry but Markstroms value isn't worth anywhere close to 3 equivalent 1st round picks. shakes head

Apparently the dude on hockey news writes for the avs and bolts but if you look at his article it's funny

Sam Belton. Leafs fan (no surprise a fan of an original 6 team....most of them talk utter b*****ks) and intern. Basically knows zero about the Avs and is writing nonsensical click bait. A bit like the article I read from there about people on twittter (supposed fans) who believe the teams that had the '4' on their rosters should be penalised for it. Hockey News is garbage, though they did used to do decent stat books back in the day.

You ever read coloradohockeynews by Evan. He writes good stuff and actually doss interviews with the players.

Evan Rawal? (sp?) @ ColoradoHockeyNow? Yeah he's a pretty balanced writer, doesn't do a bad job. There are actually probably much better writers on that kind of thing than there are on The Hockey News. Even one of the guys who used to write for one of the Leafs sites, once he got off his high horse, took of the blue tinted lenses and actually talked hockey, wasn't a bad guy, forget his name now. Some of the Philly writers are pretty even handed too as good examples. It's all still pretty much speculation but at least some of those kinds of writers think things through and look at long and short term and both teams' needs and so on.

I was reading on buffalo website about mittelstadt.

They were saying either bridge deal 2-3 year at 4. Or long term 6 year at 5.75.

If I'm the avs wouldn't you pull the trigger on that trade if he signed for that. Don't you think? I think that's the same as Ek's.

I wouldn't say he's as good as Ek all round. That's just a bargain deal which is another reason I doubt Minny moves JEE. I just don't see why BUF would want to move him, nor how the Avs afford him. I'm not even sure that he's a good idea as a signing.

The website said if they wanted Mittlestadt they would've extended him already but also its cause Mittlestadt has been demoted to 3rd line.
