What do these Players get us if we sell hard

Created by: TM11

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I KNOW ALL OUR PLAYERS ARENT GETTING FIRST I WAS JUST DOING TEAMS THAT COULD FIT BEFORE YALL FREAK OUT.
Also, Lindgren, and Jensen/TVR could also be trade targets, especially with signing Bear. Secondly, I want Stevenson called up given hes the best goalie int the AHL so wouldnt be opposed to a charlie trade if the price is right what do you think.

My Guess is Dowd with his extra year could fetch a first (Goodrow/Coleman-like), Mantha if retained probably a 2 but who knows GMS loves big players, Patches has a NMC so idk if hed want to chase a cup but hes another guy who could fetch a 2/3ish pick. NAK is definitely a player contending teams want as depth and see him as a 3/4 as well. Next Edmundson isn't good but again big tall dude so maybe a 3rd from a team. But lastly I think TVR/Jensen are out given the Bear signing and think either with the term could net a decent return of a 2/3 and prospect but nothing elite. Finally, I think you have to entertain a Lindgren trade especially if a Carolina/NJ/Tor call.

Yeah, he's weird because he actually looks better than his production and a huge locker room guy, but there's massive risk with taking him espcially because hes been good at setting up but cant put the puck in the net this year which used to be his best thing.

Pacioretty definitely isn’t returning a first considering he got traded for future considerations last time and has played like 15 games since then

Yeah thats why I said this isn't what their values are just teams that could fit was more of a discussion. Secondly, he got traded for FC because Vegas was in cap Hell he was like a PPG that season. but Idk if his value will be higher because GMs will look at his past or it will be lower because of the injuries

I think what teams are looking at with Pacioretty is, "can we put him in the right situation where he can catch lightning in a bottle?" Followed by, "if we do that, can he stay healthy." Both really big question marks, so I think any team taking him on is taking a gamble. I actually really like the bruins as a fit here - relatively low cost (unless there's some bonkers bidding war, which isn't impossible), and I think he would fit in well with Zacha and Marchand. If it doesn't work, oh well. I think that sort of deal could work if the bruins take a swing at a big target like Hanifin, fall short, but still want to add to their roster.

Yeah he deserves a cup and the Bruins are loaded (plus like when tampa choked Rd1 they came back and won it all) so I think he love to get that cup the only thing stopping him would be his Habs pride haha. But yeah I think like a 3 from Boston

Why? They have an over abundance of bottom 6 wings. The Avs need a 2C, a backup goalie, and a 4C (in that order). I know NAK has, at times in his career, played center, but its a moot point bc Bednar never played him at C in Colorado.

i agree those three positions are top priority - no question.
but what abundance of bottom 6 wingers are you referring to? macdermid is the next guy in…and the AHL guys won’t play come playoffs.
i’m talking about adding depth to the 13/14/15 forwards. remember how many depth wingers they had in the cup run? newhook, LOC, kubel and strum didn’t start game 1.

Wood
LOC
Parise
Cogliano
Kiviranta
Kovalenko

+ Oloffson would be a better wing than center once the Avs add a 4C

That's 7 guys ahead of MacDermid for 4 spots

NAK and Sturm both skated in game 1. The Avs used 14 forwards in their 2022 cup run. Burakovsky, Sturm, LOC, Cogliano, Kadri, and NAK were the only forwards that didn't play in all 20 games.
