Sabres likely tell you to literally take a long walk off a short pier and the hang up. Obviously we want to give up a skilled 2C for a garbage patch in net and a 4th……

Sammy has been playing well and could be a good cheap answer. Should have added retention in him. Added a 3rd and Holmberg.

The Sabres have 2 goalies that are significantly better than Samsonov. It's not even a cheap option if they're giving up Mitts for him. That trade is horrifically non sensical
