Not bad. Does Beauvilier have a target date to return from his injury?

Almost perfect. I would hang on to Jones. But not as much as I'm ready to dismiss the great work you did here. Maybe Sundqvist goes for more, but other than that. Great thinking!

Thank you! I understand what you mean with Jones and Sundqvist tbh. The trade for Gilbert was just based on the idea of the Rangers looking for another defensive defenseman. I wouldn’t mind the Rangers holding on to Zac though.

Hard to get a read on Danforth's price, but he's already extended through next year (and hasn't played much center at the NHL level). I doubt he gets moved until next deadline. Maybe a 4th is right? Maybe a 2nd? This isn't out of the question by any stretch, it just seems unlikely at the moment.

CHI will more than likely want to make a profit on Beauvillier if they are going to move him. They got him at a discount because VAN needed the cap space, and CHI doesn't need the cap space. So they won't be giving him away at a discount. They just paid their own 5th for him a few months back. So, taking a 5th that is even later than their own makes zero sense. Plus, aside from the injury, he has been solid in all three zones, his underlying metrics look good, and his production is decent. I won't pretend to know EXACTLY what they will get for him, but I know getting a later 5th is completely backwards. I think CHI would sooner re-sign him than do something like this.

As for a timeline on his return, I have not seen anything about a specific date or timeline. But he is skating in a no contact jersey. He started out skating and not using the wrist that was injured, but more recent video of him looks like he has been cleared to use his wrist now. So, that is a good sign. To my knowledge he hasn't participated in any full practices yet.
