Just sign Tanev in the off season. Adding him now doesn't serve much purpose. Especially giving up assets.

Works for me. I think it's a good framework for a Tanev deal.

I would've preferred a slightly bigger D that's a bit better at his own zone, but I think that the Flames will be looking to get a 23-24 year old D back for Tanev.

What's your scouting report on Brannstrom? Do you see him as a future top 4 D?

I don't know about that. They've been so much worse than last season. I'd do the Tanev trade though maybe, now that I think about it more. But def not the rangers tade. And the Kraken take that and run.
