I like parts of this, but admittedly throwing Dean and Bolduc on the third line worries me a little bit.
Florida: Trade is fine. Honestly might be willing to do a 4th if we are truly trying to get rid of him. Not a horrible self rental though either.
Carolina: Third might be a little to greedy of a return for scandella. Would be willing to take a 4th also for him or keep him.
Edmonton: Don't see this happing. I would get rid of him retained for a less pick even if we just needed space. Nobody wanted off waivers and I'm not sure how much retention changes that.
Tampa Bay: I like the idea of sending Leddy to the lightning, but this seems pretty skewed towards the Blues, especially since we are not retaining on Leddy. I think the pick could go down a round or two and maybe a lesser prospect.
New York: Kakko isn't a bad addition, but I feel like this trades creates a liability of a third line. I do see the potential of throwing some kids out there and their playstyles balance well, but it doesn't give me the most confidence for the playoffs.
Ottawa: Sens are probably going to want a slightly better prospect. In the range of Bolduc or Dean. This trade also signals a push that we may or may not be ready for. Not guaranteed to be a playoff team and not in a particular rush either.
