Jackets sue not on value but for the lack of reason to move Jenner for anything less than a landslide overpay.

Jackets very easily say no. We dont need another high dollar defenseman and we dont want RyJo back.

Girard > Jenner. Girard has been excellent this year.

Peeke would be an expensive bottom pair guy and Kuraly would be a 4th liner.

I get not wanting to trade your captain, but I hate this from Colorado’s POV.

Both teams say no. You've got the space to keep Girard, even if you added Jenner (if he was available) and we don't really want him as the return. Both teams would be better off with fewer moving pieces.
