Whoa, come out swinging! It's not necessarily what I'd do or ask for, but it's original and props for that. I'm curious to see what the other sides will say.

I don't see Yzerman doing this at the TDL scoring isn't the problem if they even make the playoffs. In the offseason there might be a deal to make. But would't Buchnevich more expensive?

I see where he's going with the value, and it's not bad or anything - the Mazur ask could turn out to be sneaky shrewd (and he buzzes around like a Blues style middle 6er). But yeah, it's not exactly what I'd ask for. I mean, what's the view on Wallinder in Detroit? Like maybe he can be a strong #4, a complimentary 2nd pairing guy? I dunno, I'd want a better young Dman piece as the primary. But like I said, it's not what I'd aim for, especially with the retention on there.

Replace Hofer and Perunovich with anything of value and the Sabres could think about it

Wait... are you saying they don't have value in a general sense or that they don't have so much value to the Sabres because of their particular needs?

they dont have so much value to the Sabres because of their particular needs. The Sabres have 2 goalies and if for some reason Adams still doesnt trust UPL, despite all of the evidence hes a solid starter, as Ive been saying all year, they would want an established #1 not another prospect. LD is one of their deepest positions

Perunovich is a lefty but played his entire college career on the right side. It’s his natural position.

Hofer isn’t a throw in. He would fight Ukko for the starting job.

Between Faulk and Perunovich, who could be the shutdown / defensive top four defenseman?

Doesn’t matter if he plays RD,
we don’t want put more Lefties on the right side
He just wouldn’t be of interest to us

And we aren’t looking for a goalie to “battle” with UPL
UPL is our #1 until Levi is ready to challenge him for the job
And as said before,
if UPL regresses we would look for an established starter until Levi is ready

He was very raw when drafted, so we knew he wouldn't be ready for a while. I'd say he's probably a 2 pair dman.
