Both Brendan Smith and a 4th round pick were absent at Devils morning skate....maybe be onto something here

Pat Steinberg has confirmed Markstrom is the backup tonight. Vladar can't be activated from IR until tomorrow

The rumor I heard about the potential package was 1st in 2024, Holtz and Vanecek.
I am 100% against tanking., and I'd still accept that deal despite it making us worse now because it's a very good return.

I think asking a team to take a cap dump that still is under contract another year plus retain for 2 years is a little much
